Here we collected anonymous responses to the survey we conducted about under age drinking.

If it were to be changed younger people would learn to drink responsibly and not binge drink at the first sight of alcohol

I'm torn on the issue. I know it can be dangerous, but so can drinking in general. I was pretty safe about it when I was underage, but I also know that a lot of people aren't.

If men are mature enough to go to war at the age of 18, then what makes people think that they are aren't mature enough to consume alcohol?

It's simple ,18 for war ? But 21 for a good time, no

its bad but no matter how young the age there will still be underage drinking

It takes time to learn HOW to drink. Getting hammered is fail, grab your buzz and hang on to it all night.

It always has and always will happen whether legal or not. If an 18 year old wants to drink, they can and will regardless of legal repercussions.

We should teach moderation instead of abstinence in the United States.

I think it is widespread and that restrictions should be tougher and punishment harsher or the age limit should be lowered.

I think underage drinking wouldn't be so much of a problem if we didn't factor in other things - driving under the influence, constant binging, etc.

I am a firm believer of 19 being the drinking age considering most kids are out of high school etc etc and that's really the group no one wants drinking anyways.

The age should be 19 to keep it young, but not high school age.

It is okay when done, but it really depends on the person, and the way they can handle the use of alcohol.

I used to do it but now I just contribute to the delinquency of others!

It is safe.

if the legal age was lowered i think it would be less abused, but there also needs to be proper education

It's totally fine

College is hard. I get drunk.

It's going to happen. Banning it to minors only makes them want to do it more.

It can have negative life changeing results.

If you can drive and go to war, why not drinking (responsibly, of course)?

If you treat people like adults, they act like adults. The drinking age doesn't deter underage drinking, it encourages doing it recklessly.

Drive: 16 Vote: 18 Fight and Die for this country: 18 Indiscrepancy? I think so. However, just as guns and drinking don't mix, neither should cars and drinking.

i think that it is bad i personally don't drink. and i dont think that any underage person should have their hands on alcohol

Stay responsible. If kids are sheltered, it could lead to them not knowing their limits when they can drink! Military actives/veterans underage should be allowed, if we are asking them to potentially die for us.

Underage drinking is going to happen regardless if the drinking age is 21 or 18, I feel that underage drinkers would act more responsibly if the age was 18 because they wouldnt have to "pregame" hard as they do now, putting themselves in less danger for when they do go out

It happens, but the age shouldn't be changed because people aren't mature enough to handle it.

It's going to happen. Might as well make it legal. It's not morally wrong to drink, that much is agreed on, why does the age of which it happens important?

underage drinking is something most everyone will do, as long as your responsible enough to not go out and drive and your with family and friends then I think its OK.....but most people who drink underage and lots of people who are of age that drink still aren't responsible about it.

If you can fight for your country and vote on legislation that has an effect on every age group, then you should be aloud to drink.

I think the drinking age being 21 is not preventing underage drinking.

Well as someone who doesn't even "of age" drink, I don't think underaged people handle alcohol responsibly. But maybe that would be reduced if it didn't have the thrill of doing something sneaky anymore.

The legal drinking age should be switched to 19 so that drinking is still kept out of high schools, but the critical group of underage drinkers would no longer be breaking the law.

If you're in college, the high drinking age just makes people break the law since most of their peers are drinking.
